Your subathon isn’t on one platform anymore
A sub on Twitch. Ten gifted on Kick. A superchat on YouTube. Every one of those should be adding time — and in V2, every one of them does.
Enter your StreamElements channel IDs once and the widget listens to all of them at the same time. One clock, one goal ladder, one running total, fed by your whole community wherever they’re watching.
And it counts Kicks. StreamElements doesn’t report Kick’s tipping currency at all, so V2 reads them straight from Kick and drops them into the same timer as everything else.
🪜 A goal ladder, not just a goal
The old widget showed you the goal you were on. V2 shows you what’s coming.
Underneath the timer sits a ladder of your upcoming goals, each with its target and its reward. When one is cleared it slides away, the rest rise up, and a new one drops in at the bottom. Chat can always see what they’re working toward and what’s after that.
🔒 And some of them can be secrets. Mark any goal hidden and it sits in the ladder as a row of dots with its own colour — chat knows a mystery is coming and exactly what it costs, but not what it is. The moment it becomes the active goal, the title is revealed with a flash and an announcement.
That one setting changes how a subathon feels. People don’t just push for the next goal — they push to find out what it is.
🎨 Four layouts, eight themes, every colour
Full · Stacked — big clock, progress bar, current goal, ladder below. Full · Split — clock on the left, goal and counter on the right, bar across the bottom. Wide and short. Minimal · Strip — one rounded row: clock, points, current goal. Minimal · Ticker — square edges, with the progress bar forming the bottom edge of the strip itself.
Eight built-in themes, or switch to Custom and every surface becomes a colour picker: card, accent, timer, bar, rows, pills, even the hidden-goal colour. Fonts and sizes are yours too.
⏱️ A clock that behaves
The timer is anchored to real time, not counted tick by tick — so it doesn’t drift over a twelve-hour stream the way interval-based timers do.
- Uncapped or capped. Leave the maximum blank and the clock has no ceiling. Set one and it never goes past it.
- Refresh-safe. Progress is written continuously and on close. Restart the browser source mid-subathon and the clock, the subs and the ladder are all still there.
- Away time, your call. Choose whether the clock keeps draining while the overlay is closed.
- Per-event rates. Set seconds separately for subs, gifted subs, bits, tips and Kicks.
What you’ll need
- Your platform accounts connected to StreamElements
- For multi-platform counting: the StreamElements channel ID for each platform you want included
- For chat announcements: the StreamElements bot joined and modded in that channel
FAQ
Do I have to multi-stream to use it? No. Leave the extra channel IDs blank and it runs as a single-platform subathon.
What happens if my overlay crashes mid-subathon? Progress is saved continuously. Reload and the clock, subs and ladder pick up where they were.
Can a goal add time without counting toward the ladder? Yes. Time earned and goal credit are set separately for every contribution type, so a tip can add minutes without moving a sub-based goal counter.
Can I change every message? Every chat announcement is a text field with placeholders. Leave one blank to switch it off.
Does it work with my existing overlay? Yes. It’s a standard StreamElements custom widget — add it to any overlay and position it like anything else.
